Dance Of The Dead

The wonderfully theatrical Dance of the Dead is the greatest funeral party you’ll ever have the pleasure of attending. Just like they do down in old Mexico, you’ll be gathered to celebrate the departed in one spectacularly wild and vibrant fiesta!

Every song is from a deceased artist – the DJs will let loose on some spine-tingling remixes and rare bootlegs from the likes of Michael Jackson, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Nirvana, Amy Winehouse, T-Rex, Whitney Houston, Bob Marley, 2Pac, Queen, INXS, Rick James, Buddy Holly, Joy Division, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, Bowie and Prince, to name but a few!

You can select from our pool of cabaret acts, including Elvis Corpsley arriving in a white and silver studded coffin to take to the stage and perform a medley of his greatest hits. You’ll also find other shenanigans along the way, like face-painting stations, fiery comperes hosting party games such as chilli-eating competitions, tequila shots, Mexican waves and, of course, the piñata smash-up, as well as some of London’s best cabaret performers embracing other ‘gone but not forgotten’ legends.

Dance of the Dead have made appearances at Mahiki, Queen of Hoxton, Shoreditch House, Bestival, and most fittingly of all at Wahaca's Day of the Dead festival.
