Wahaca Day of the Dead Festival

We were honoured to be a part of the Wahaca Day of the Dead Festival, celebrating the dead and the living through the indulgence and debauchery of live music, fine food, provocative debate and beautiful art. Our room La Casa Loca featured everything from a traditional Mexican dance class to Lucha Libre Thumb Wrestling, a live mariachi band, a craft workshop with renowned illustrator Supermundane, a chilli-eating competition and a show-stopping performance from The Bikini Beach Band. Closing the night in spectacular style was Dance of the Dead, complete with cabaret performances from Elvis Corpsley, Dead Frank, Whitney Houston and Dusty Springfield.
